Take a look at some of the pieces I have been asked to make. If you have something you would like to remodel or repair, contact me to discuss what I can do, and we can work together to create a piece of jewellery you will treasure.
My love for designing and making things started at a very young age, as my family could attest to, because after I received my first set of "do-it-yourself" beaded jewellery, they all wore my designs, even my dad (although he drew the line at wearing his bracelet to work).
I know they say that to be happy at work, you have to find something you love to do and make it your job. That's what I did because after completing my education in goldsmithing and gem setting in Toronto and moving back to the UK to work for private jewellery companies for two years, I settled in France and I created my own workshop.
I live in a beautiful part of France with my patient and loving husband (as he helps me with the website, he said I should write something nice about him), doing what I love. What's great about the internet is that I can still work with people all over the world, designing and making jewellery for them that makes them smile; it's that smile that makes it worth it, because the money (have to pay the bills) and the prizes (I have won a few) is good, it is the smile that the customer has when wearing the finished piece which really is the best feeling.
When I'm not doing commissions, I create pieces inspired by my interest in ancient history and the nature and landscapes that surround me. I also like to bring things back to life and repair a piece so it can be worn again.
In case you think I'm completely consumed by my passion for jewellery, know that I also like to tinker on the renovation of our barn (it never seems to be finished) as well as travelling around France and the rest of the world.
I am also a member of the Jewellers Academy (UK) and have joined their "Handmade and well paid" campaign. With a piece of jewellery from KT Bijoux you are getting 100% handmade beautiful pieces that you can wear for years to come.
